DR BS MANI PILLAR OF ‘SANJE VANI’ NO MORE

The pillar of ‘Sanjevani’ group of newspapers Dr BS Mani aged 78 passed away and left a huge void. The founder of ‘Sanjevani’ Dr BS Mani leaves behind wife, son and three daughters.

On May 3rd night Dr BS Mani died of heart attack and brought to his CV Raman Nagar residence for public darshan. On Tuesday morning Dr B S Mani was brought to Sanje Vani office. Politicians, bureaucrats, cinema personalities and others came for taking last Darshan.

As one of the daughters of Dr BS Mani is expected in the morning the cremation will take place on Tuesday afternoon at Kalpaalli crematorium.

B.S. Mani (78) founded and edited ‘Sanjevani’ 33 years ago, the first Kannada evening newspaper in Karnataka state. Mani hailed from Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu. He became a prominent personality in the Kannada media space.

He also started a Tamil daily ‘Dinasudar’ in the city.
